Statement Regarding Death Reports About Clinicexpert
In light of the recent comments and news reports, particularly from the British press and international media, we feel it is our responsibility to provide accurate information about a tragic incident involving the loss of a patient. These reports, along with baseless comments on social media, have deeply saddened us. We wish to clarify the situation to ensure our valued patients are well-informed.
First and foremost, we extend our deepest condolences for the loss of our patient. We are heartbroken by this incident and are closely following the matter while continuing to provide all necessary support to those affected.
About Clinicexpert
For over 14 years, Clinicexpert has held a reputable position in the field of health tourism. Our primary goal has always been to ensure the safety and satisfaction of the patients who place their trust in us.
However, false claims regarding this incident have been spreading online, tarnishing the reputation of our institution. These accusations are unfounded, and we categorically reject all baseless allegations aimed at discrediting us.
Details of the Incident
Clinicexpert works exclusively with highly qualified and experienced physicians to deliver safe medical services. In addition to our in-house doctors, we occasionally collaborate with independent physicians as operating room contractors.
The surgeon involved in this particular case was one such independent practitioner—a contracted plastic surgeon with expertise in their field. Despite this, we believe it is unjust and inappropriate to hold the entire clinic and its doctors accountable for this tragic incident, or to tarnish their reputations based on a single event.
Legal Investigations and Organ Theft Allegations
The incident is currently under investigation by legal authorities. Preliminary findings from forensic medical examinations have not indicated any fault on the part of the doctor or the clinic.
Furthermore, allegations of “organ trafficking” are completely false and have no basis in fact. While some reports in the British press claim that organs such as the brain or heart were partially missing, this claim is scientifically implausible:
- Organ trafficking would require intact organs, not partial removal.
- Heart transplants are not possible with portions of the organ.
- Brain transplants are medically impossible at this time.
Such claims contradict basic medical knowledge and, by their nature, disprove themselves.
Routine Procedures
Following the patient’s passing, the body was sent to the official Turkish Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the cause of death, in accordance with legal procedures. During the autopsy, standard checks were conducted, and tissue samples may have been collected for analysis. However, as confirmed by the autopsy report, the body was intact and no organs were removed or harmed.
Therefore, any allegations of organ theft are entirely baseless and false.
We ask that all individuals and media outlets approach this situation with fairness and responsibility. Please refrain from making judgments or spreading misinformation without proper investigation.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Clinicexpert Team
